More halloween ideas

I think these severed fingers look pretty realistic and tasty. LOL. Might have to do these.

This is a MUMMY MEATLOAF. It's wrapped in cheese! How cool is that?
Then of course, for the not-so-discriminating pallet, we could have rats cooked in blood.  I think this one would be too hard for me to pull off. I don't think my rats would look right.
More severed fingers, but not so cool as the first ones.
Poor Peter Pumpkin had too much to eat... Blech... barf, retch.... oh look... we have guacamole now!
An egg sack of spiders.... not edible, but definitely creepy.
Or maybe a jar of spiders.... woooooooo
And last but not least (these I WILL be making)... turds with corn!

Oh yummy!

Gross food = Awesome food

My friend Mary went all out for her son's 11th bday. They had a very gross party and these are some of the foods they had. Plus they had some pretty disgusting activities. LOL.

Anyhow... with a Halloween party coming up... I have some more ideas. Not sure how many of these I will make, but for SURE I have to do the dirty Q-tips.

Scary world hits close to home

David took a friend to homecoming. She's a beautiful girl. Two nights ago she was working at her job (fast food) and some creepy man kept staring at her. She told her manager and the manager made the man leave. But the man came back with a big bouquet of flowers for the "pretty girl at the cash register".

She left work, and he was in the parking lot. He followed her home. She drove around for twenty minutes trying to ditch him. She called the police and luckily there was a car nearby.

She pulled over and so did the creep and he got out of his car and came towards her car! The cop pulled up right behind them and ended up having to TASER the creepy stalker dude!!

How frightening!!!  Freaked David out that something like that happened to his friend.

Thank you to my daughter from anutha mutha

We gonna be havin' us some scary eats. Some mummy babies... a few roaches, fingers, and witchy-poo hats. Maybe a zombie cake, or some brains. Vampire wings?

I'm gettin' in the mood for a bit o' Halloween partying.

He he he ......

dinner last night

Last night I sauteed some red, yellow and green bell peppers with some green onions, garlic, and brocolli in a little bit of EVOO and white wine. Then I threw in some rotisserie chicken and couscous. Yum Yum. It was good and very filling. Only need about a cup of it to be full.

Now I get to use up the rest of the wine on my brocolli cheese soup.

Yummers again.

I just love how colorful this dish looks. Man it was nice to see all those colors.

Take a Left at Forgetfulness and Head straight to dementia.

Lately I have been making a lot of bad decisions. For instance, buying a 40 QUART restaurant sized pot to make soup for people at work when I needed one that made about 40 CUPS. This monster is so big it won't fit on my stove. And I could easily give Adelyn a bath in it. $100 down the drain because if you know me... I don't return stuff. Too much work.
I fouled up my Saturday and made the house stink to high heaven because I made one of Rachel Ray's autumn veggie stews. Oh it sounded heavenly. Carrots, celery, onions, chuck steak, bacon, apples, served atop whipped potatoes and parsnips. Well it called for 2 1/2 cups of "organic cloudy cider" and I mistook that for "organic cloudy cider vinegar" so I used two and half cups of VINEGAR.  This concoction baked for two hours in the oven... stinking the house to high heaven and burning a black ring around my casserole pot.  I tried to eat some. It was disgusting and I couldn't save it by adding sugar and water (I tried). So... about $60 in the garbage

I have to wash dishes by hand since my washer is broken and my other dish washer is in Hawaii. My water barely gets warm. So I bought a little coffee  pot to heat water up. Well.. it takes over 30 MINUTES to come to a boil. And it's not enough water to make much difference. So I finally (after 8 years) turned up the water heater in the basement. Voila! I washed dishes last night in really HOT water! So... $20 down the drain for a coffee pot that I won't use. I'll take it to work. They use them in the coffee maker.
Some steamable veggies on sale at Harmons. Sounded good. One said Honey roasted corn, and the other said "barbecued potatoes". So I made them for the gang yesterday. ICK! They were disgusting!!! Yucky. Blech. It's one time I did NOT tell everybody to eat their veggies! Or me either!
So what is up with my brain these days? It's kinda scary.
But nobody can tell the difference....

That's even scarier.....   LOL.
