Scary

My friend, my sistah, my bestie.... someone I have known and worked with for ten years.... is going to be leaving the company in 3 months.

Not by her choice.

She has seen it coming for a while now. But I refused to see the writing on the wall. But today she sat down with the powers that be and confronted them. And they told her.... her job is phased out and she will be let go in about 3 months.

This woman has been with the company for 25+ years.  Her husband also used to work here but he died 7 years ago. And now... she is over 60 years old and has to start over? Yeah, she has to start over.

I'm sick inside. Work won't be the same without my bestie. She keeps me sane.

Sometimes life throws a curve ball.

I never did like baseball.

My guess as to what happened in the Susan cox Powell case....

I have followed the case since it began three years ago. And once the redacted transcripts were released, I was eager to read them and see if I could "figure out what happened".  You know, cuz... I'm such an expert. ha ha.

Well, I am no expert. But I do watch a lot of TV shows on crime solving. And I do have a good imagination.

So I read all 800+ pages of the transcript. The interviews, the tips, etc.

Boy, the cops get a lot of "psychic" tips. And lots of "waste of time" tips. That could get old really fast.

But based on what I have read....this is what I think happened. And again... this is just my opinion.

So......... I am not going to even try to figure out the "why" it happened. But this is "WHAT" I think happened.

The night she disappeared, Josh fixed pancakes and let her and a neighbor eat the pancakes in the living room. I think Josh put some kind of medication in Susan's pancakes because soon after she ate them she got "very tired".  (Police did find prescription meds in the kitchen pantry that can cause drowsiness) But the neighbor also ate the pancakes and was perfectly fine so there is Josh's alibi that there was nothing wrong with the pancakes. He figured the neighbor was a witness that he fixed them, and since she ate them also, she would conclude that Susan's sleepiness had nothing to do with the pancakes.

I think that later that night, Susan was sedated from whatever he put in those pancakes and Josh put her and the kids in the van. The younger son, Charlie, told police that his mommy went went them camping and that she stayed to sleep where the crystals and red flowers are... (that is not a direct quote, but he made a similar statement).

I think that Josh threw Susan into a mine shaft still alive. That is why there is no blood anywhere. Why would he leave a messy crime scene? He watches tons of cop shows and bragged about how he could get away with murder. He looked up a bunch of mines on his computer.

I could see him putting her in there and when Charlie asked why mommy wasn't going home with them Josh said she was tired and going to sleep where the crystals are.

The problem is.... the police did search a LOT of mines. At least they made the effort. But there are thousands of mines.... so nobody can really check every single one.

Josh purchased some tools prior to all of this. Tools that would be perfect for sealing a mine shut. Tools that could make it look like a mine, or a shaft, had never been open. He could have put her in there and sealed it shut. Cops would not take the time to unseal something. They are going to look at what is open and accessible.

So.... that is what I think happened there. As for the father-in-law, Steven...... was he a part of it? I honestly don't know either way if he was involved in her disappearance. However it is extremely obvious, by his disgusting pornographic videos of himself masterbating to pictures of Susan, and all the disgusting and sick, perverted journal entries that he was one sick puppy and absolutely insanely obsessed with her.

I almost thought at one point, that he could have abducted her and hid her somewhere to be his sex slave. But I guess we will never know. All I can say, is that man needs serious sexual counseling. He is horrible. And why has he not been charged with any kind of stalking charges against Susan? He stalked her, stole her property, photographed and videotaped her repeatedly without her knowledge.... I was so sickened by reading the details of what he did with her underwear and photographs that I may never get those images out of my mind. I had to skip a lot of that part of the transcripts and felt bad for the detectives that had to catalog and transcribe everything. (shudder).

Anyhow.... that is my two cents worth. I hope the whole truth is someday known. But with most of the people involved dead or incarcerated..... it is highly unlikely.  I just pray the Cox family can find the remains of their daughter and give her a proper burial. Closure is so important. My heart goes out to this family.

Baby bird got his wings

So my youngest, my baby, my Day-Day is a big boy now. Well, he's been BIG for a long time. But now he is officially a college student. Now he is a highschool grad, has a job, has a car, has a life.....

and momma isn't quite ready to let him fly the coop yet.

He is a wonderful, handsome, fun, kind, responsible, generous, loving young man. He is smart. He is amazingly talented. He holds his own place with his siblings. Because frankly.... I have to brag, that every single one of my children is just an amazing human being.

A mom could not be more proud of each of them.  I'm serious. I'm not just spouting "mom-isms"  nope. The kids are so wonderful that I just bask in the glow that they turned out to be such wonderful people.

It's fun to see them interact with each other. It's great that they get along so well. It's incredibly fun and exciting to watch the next generation (my grandbaby) grow and learn and explore the world and see that she is just as smart as can be.

Makes my heart proud to be a part of their lives.
